While 50 mg is generally considered a "beauty bath" and 100 mg a "beautifying spring," our water far exceeds these standards, offering a silky-smooth "beauty hot spring" (bihada-no-yu). The water has a characteristic slight golden hue.

Yes, the hot spring is available around the clock from check-in to checkout. As the water flows directly from the source at 100% purity, you can enjoy fresh spring water at any time.

What types of baths are available?

We offer two types: a hinoki (Japanese cypress) indoor bath and an open-air rotenburo overlooking the Nasu countryside. The indoor bath is 100% free-flowing spring water with no heating or dilution. The outdoor bath is lightly diluted to maintain a comfortable temperature of approximately 42°C.
Since the indoor and outdoor baths differ in temperature, we also recommend alternating between them for a rejuvenating contrast bath experience.

Can the indoor bath temperature be adjusted?

Because the indoor bath is fed directly from the source, the temperature fluctuates with the seasons and may drop below 40°C in winter. Enjoying the natural temperature is part of the authentic experience, but a cold-water tap is provided if you need to adjust. Please check with other bathers before making changes.

- Private hinoki sauna (with löyly option): Built with pure domestic Japanese cypress, this sauna can be enjoyed as a humid löyly (steam) sauna or as a dry sauna — the choice is yours.
- Far-infrared sauna: Featuring bedrock tiles across the entire floor, relax in a reclining chair while enjoying the deep warmth of far-infrared heat.
